On arrival you will be welcomed with a delicious home made cake, a welcome basket of goodies and fresh bread , milk and free range eggs from our chickens. This unique escape is the perfect gift to celebrate any special occasion and surprise a loved one. Our lovely piggies are waiting to meet you ! Just for all you piggy lovers, this is perfect for you to enjoy a hands on experience and some fun, whilst capturing some nice photos. ( booking is advisable) please see our single video of our piggies on their daily outing around our grounds.
Our heated shepherd huts are quaint and cosy and sleep two adults. Inside the décor is light and airy, comprising of a television, fire heater, microwave , kettle , toaster & well equipped kitchen area. An integral separate toilet and shower room (no sharing toilet or shower blocks) Also outside there is a light ,picnic table, fire pit and gas BBQ. A welcome basket consisting of fresh bread, milk and free range eggs from our very own chickens and a delicious biscuits /cake awaits you. Each shepherd hut has its own out side furniture, Fire Pit & gas BBQ and we will include some wood and marshmallows for your first arrival night. You will enjoy the peaceful evenings and star gazing, whilst toasting your marshmallows. The beautiful haunting Barn Owl often makes an appearance and if you are really lucky you may see our local herd of Red Deer which come to graze in our small woodlands and surrounding farm land.

Waxham beach is 20 minutes away and is well worth a visit to see the Seals It is a wonderful walk down to the beach through sand dunes. There is a tea room called "Poppy Lands" themed on the second world war with memorabilia and serving great food and a wonderful gift shop.
Located close to the Catfield Fens RSBS conservation area , we are an ideal spot for bird watching. we have some beautiful wild birds in our grounds and have encourage them with daily feeding and nesting boxes over the years. At dusk a local barn owl appears and during the night you may be lucky enough to see wild Red Deer.

Day boat and canoe hire from Sutton Staithe is only 5 mins away, hire a boat hourly or take a picnic and venture out for the day. From Sutton Staithe you can travel on the river to Ludham Bridge where you can moor and visit a gift shop and tea rooms.
Our largest seaside attraction with all the popular seaside entertainment has amusements, a Sea Life center , a fun fair and the famous and oldest Hippodrome Circus. So weather its an ice cream or a walk along the pier you will find it all here. There is so much to see and do in this wonderful location of the Norfolk Broads and a warm welcome awaits you .
We offer cycle hire or please bring your own, it is the perfect place to cycle with ease, it is completely flat with no hills. Cycle to our neighbouring villages, where you will discover country pubs with a good choice of ciders and beers to quench your thirst. "The Ferry Inn" public house at Hickling is situated in a beautiful location which over looks the Hickling Broad . Also close by is Ludham Village, which has a pretty tea room called "Alfresco" serving excellent food. Lesley's cakes are so scrumptious!
There are many beautiful spots to fish on the Norfolk Broads . Local boat hire 5 mins away . If its sea fishing you prefer the coast at Seapalling is 10 minutes away.
A popular local attraction is Thrigby wild life zoo in Filby about 20 mins away and Amazon Zoo in Cromer is 30 mins . Cromer is a quaint little sea side village with a wonderful pier hosting some great shows and some nice shops to explore.
In our village we are very lucky to have a charming and very quaint little pub which is only a 10 minute walk . The landlords Gail and Scott are very welcoming and offer excellent customer service . The Menu has a good choice of hearty pub food, serving an excellent roast on sundays.
